The Self Checkout feature in the WCPL mobile app is not working for me!

It's possible that when you first installed the app you did not allow Location services for it. This is necessary for Self Checkout to work so that the app knows what library you are in. There is a way to adjust that after the fact.

These could vary somewhat depending on the OS and device, particularly with Android.

App Specific Location Permission for Android Devices:

  • On your phone's home screen, find the app icon.
  • Touch and hold the app icon.
  • Tap App info.
  • Tap Permissions -> App permissions Turn on Your location.

For Android, you could also try:

Settings->Privacy->Permission Manager->Location.

There you could find the list of Apps and select the WCPL Mobile app to adjust the specific location permissions.
